On the Move in Sin City

by Xania V. Woodman

Former Delmonico Steakhouse Lead Mixologist Juyoung Kang has moved down the Venetian’s Restaurant Row to The Dorsey, where she is Lead Bartender, executing a smart, New York-inspired program by Attaboy owner Sam Ross.

Mike Doyle departs the beverage specialist team at Breakthru Beverage Nevada to take on the Brown-Forman portfolio as a Whiskey Specialist.

Not so much a person as a thing: For the Love of Cocktails, typically held in February, has moved to May 19 at the Delano Las Vegas; tickets are available at ForTheLoveOfCocktails.com.

Self-proclaimed travel junkie Brege Reilly, formerly of Tacos & Beer and Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, celebrated her 18-month anniversary in Las Vegas at her new home at Jaleo by Chef José Andrés in The Cosmopolitan.

Completing the circle, Herbs & Rye bar manager Adam O'Donnell jumps over the bar to join Breakthru as a beverage specialist on the Craft Spirits and Emerging Brands team, but Herbs also welcomes barman Isaiah Haro (a.k.a. Stretch) back behind the stick.

Finally, The Sand Dollar Lounge continues its reign as a talent magnet, pulling in Keith Baker to join Kinson Lau and Jessica Lee Westergom, the latter of whom will split her time with the Dollar to join Joy Herrin behind the bar at Chica by celebrity chef Lorena Garcia, now open in The Palazzo.
